: more residents moving in (former meeting in October 2009)

Safety issues: 31/ 172 = lots of walkers; peeping
(1) Gated = 100% by residents
= Park (fencing) & (segregate field from residence)
= back lane (31/172)
= find out costing before final decision

(2) Guarded = start with night time security (7pm – 7am) due to lots of renovation still ongoing
= “Palang” is illegal ; to request Gamuda for guard house building
= 4 guards (take 3 quotations and discuss subsequently = by next month)

(3) Need more members now to arrive at decision. Thence, get an idea on how they think about security concerns. (obtain consensus for gated-guarded service + money willing to pay i.e., not more than RM50). Suggestion: start with higher fee then reduce once more residents moved in.

(4) Letters to residents (written by Marcus and pass to reps: collection by next month).

(5) Letters to MBSA for second fencing (which is FOC)

(6) To collect all fences from houses under renovation. (recycle) – to post on webpage

(7) Fencing = keys for every houses ; padlock spoiled – respective block must pay.

(8) Fencing cost - distributed accordingly or lump sum? (get responses from all residents first) - tentatively to be shared equally

(9) Motorcycle racing – midnight especially Friday = to build speed hump. (Persiaran / Jalan Besar = 1cm thick; residential area = 2cm thick)

(10) Fire hydrant = bungalow on fire in oncidium; need to know location as Lagoon is a new area and yet listed in the map. (webmaster to check the map); firemen to come in for demonstration

(11) Intruders (indon workers) = 31/ 172 (house renovation = 2 months renovation, workers stay in)

(12) Police contact (scan name card on webpage): can distribute newsletters

(13) Funding: methods: on event or collection Ie., recycle bin to put up + to call for collection of recycle items.

Miscellaneous:

To inform residents via webpage about illegal renovation according to MBSA site.
MBSA e-aduan = very effective.

Setting up of Care Taker Lagoon Home Committee

Dear Lagoon Homes Residences,

Please to inform that we have had our first informal meeting(more to gathering session) on behalf of the Lagoon Homes Committee. This meeting was held in quite a short-lead period as to urgently discuss about the lagoon homes security guarded issue.

As per agreement from all the meeting attendees, we will like to urge all the current already-moved-in lagoon homes residences NOT to make any decision on agreeing any of the security guard companies which approaching to them asking for registration or payment(so far is ASAS as heard). We have appointed Kelvin(thanks Kelvin!) to print out notification fliers to all the lagoon homes residences associating this, as well as Foong, Phang, Pang, Pun, Micheal, MM, Fred... to alert their nearby neighbors.

However, we planned to setup a formal lagoon homes committee after all the residences moved in and by that time we will have a meeting to vote for our most favour security guard company and to discuss other issues like gated community.
